

The MegaBook S1 comes with Windows 11 out of the box plus some special Tecno features. For charging, it uses one of its two USB-C ports and the included 65W GaN charger Additionally, there are two USB-A ports, a full-size HDMI, a 3.5mm jack and a microSD card reader. For storage, you can choose between 512GB and 1TB PCIe 4.0 SSDs, RAM is 16GB either way (LPDDR5).ĭespite its low weight, the laptop features a large 70Wh battery. The S1 upgrades to a 12th gen Core i7 (35W TDP) with dual-fan cooling.

The MegaBook T1 from a few months ago was powered by an 11th generation Intel processor. It is fairly bright for a laptop too, reaching 450 nits, and it offers a flicker-free experience with DC dimming. This is high quality panel with 120Hz refresh rate and 100% sRGB coverage. The 15.6” display has 3.2K resolution with a 16:10 aspect ratio. That is very petite for a 15.6” laptop, but the magnesium alloy build makes for a sturdy body.

This laptop is super thin and light, it measures 13.5mm thick (0.53”) and weighs 1.35kg (2.97lbs). Tecno introduced its first laptop at IFA, now the company is launching something more premium – the Tecno MegaBook S1.
